ABOUT ME

I have worked in the Equine health field since 1999. Working with several wonderful veterinarian's gave me an amazing opportunity to really work in all facets of horse related healthcare. I had one Doctor in particular that I really seemed to share the passion of dentistry. His evaluation and diagnosis reminded me of a master working a jigsaw puzzle, only so much more important to the well being of our beloved horses. I am so grateful for his knowledge he shared and encouragement to continue my education in the dentistry field.

From there I attended the American School of Equine Dentistry. What a great choice!

Doctor Raymond Q. Hyde is the most skilled dentist and horse handler I believe I have ever had the privilege of meeting. ( I am an avid Equine festival attendant) I have met many professional horse handler, trainers and Veterinarians over the years and Dr. Hyde has to be one of the best! A little joke we used in class..."Dancing with horses" he could use a hand float, hold on an excited horse and in a matter of minutes calm the most anxious horse. He would allow the nervous horse to move around while continuing a graceful floating job. This performance reminded all who watched, of an elegant dance, smooth, graceful, relaxed and never missing a beat.  I know the horses he worked on appreciated and learned to relax with his wonderful handling skills. I think I even saw a few curtsey!
